How Epoxy Flooring Boulder Works

Epoxy Flooring Boulder installs epoxy and polyaspartic floor coatings for garages, basements, shops and commercial spaces in Boulder and across Boulder County and the northern Front Range.

Every job starts with a visit to the floor itself. We measure the space, look at cracks, old coatings and stains, check for signs of slab movement, and test the concrete for moisture. Moisture rising through a slab is a leading cause of peeling coatings, and swelling clay soils can move slabs along the Front Range, so both get checked before we recommend anything.

After the visit you get a written quote that lists the system, the number of coats, the prep work and the price. Nothing starts until you approve it.

What we will not do

• Roll a thin coat over an unground slab. Coatings need a mechanically opened surface to bond.
• Coat a slab that fails a moisture test without telling you first.
• Hide a heaving or actively moving slab under a coating. That needs an engineer or concrete contractor first, and we will say so.
• Quote one price on the phone and another at your door. The written quote is the price, and any change in scope is agreed with you in writing first.
